today i helped pat put a bunch of stuff that he was getting ready to donate into the back of the truck before i left to go to the stand. he said i could have whatever i wanted of it, so i kept some kern's jars and mason jars, a baking dish, and a vase. also: a classic 70s (?) microwave. we've been quite fine thus far without a microwave so we won't use it for food. it's just so beautiful and classic and gigantic and clean, i had to take it. it would be perfect as an extra large bread box...
so i hadn't eaten all day, save for 2 bites of paste-of-wheat this morning before work, and was starving when i got home (to a terribly messy kitchen) with absolutely no desire to clean or cook, and i went to vege thai, this amazing vegan thai restaurant down the street. it may possibly be my new favorite thing. i ate dinner on the couch and watched the debate and then the dudes came over and they all went out, making tonight the night that Melanni cleans and watches a movie and gets good solid sleep.
