son-in-law was even better than i remembered! and becca's new LA/college girl look is... atrocious. (but it was probably Dope in the 90s?) we came to the conclusion that if any of us met someone like Crawl in our adult lives we would absolutely think he was crazy, or an idiot. his outfits are endearing, especially after he's attained some real country garb, but he's just a bit of a creepster.
i had never seen back to school before, really never seen rodney dangerfield in anything but ladybugs. it wasn't based around a holiday but served the general purpose of being fall-appropriate. (back to school, foliage, etc.) best thing about the movie, by far, was robert downey jr. i really had no idea. oh, how my mind has been opened up!
this is going to be a weekly thing, from now until the sun comes out and we shed our winter coats and get back out in the sunlight. themes will range from fall to halloween to thanksgiving to christmas to horror to pauly shore to bla bla bla.
