today is autumn equinox, the day in which i bake 4 loaves of pumpkin bread as treats to the friends. also the day in which we eat cream of wheat for breakfast, and i'm taken back to 5th and 6th grade, when i used to love to eat cream of wheat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. it's kind of funny the way i like mine sweetened with sugar and cinnamon and N eats his with butter and lots of salt. always the same, always different.

the other night i met these two girls. quite curious--their friend commented on how i was their Doppelganger. one had long dark hair, thick black glasses, and just got a job at AA. the other, asian with shorter hair and bangs, has a love of funny brown shoes. (i was wearing the basket shoes at the time.) does the world operate best in terms of pairs or trios? it's the buddy system, i guess. blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
