Nicholas has an interview in 66 minutes; I'm so happy and anxious for him. We spent the morning drinking tea with the fire on, working on separate little projects, chatting, worrying about kitty-boo. I'm still in wonder about the ease and comfort of things, it's unreal sometimes. I got an email this morning from my old boss at the farm stand--he told me about the new cat he and his wife just adopted, and gave me a bit of advice on schooling and finances, etc. Sometimes I think he's a super-human ne'er-do-well, like the woman on the plane. Fully appreciative, nonetheless. Regarding the finances though, I'm apparently 21 days shy of being considered an independent, and 5 months away from residency, which may delay some plans a bit. It's...disappointing.
Anyway, I'm getting back on the package-sending wagon. Today I should receive a huge box from mi familia full of treats (like, a new frying pan, and a new mixing bowl), and I'll be sending my brother a package with some books and a stainless steel water bottle. With his help I think we have solved the plastic-water-bottle habit of the house.
